Five scenarios for a wearable AI terminal

From everyday personal assistance to lightweight field terminals — S1's target scenarios and the dock combinations behind them.

A modular architecture only earns its keep in concrete scenarios. S1's target use cases fall into five groups, each with a different dock combination and a different centre of gravity for interaction.

Personal everyday AI

Natural conversation, on-the-go capture, reminders, lookups and image recognition. This is the baseline case, paired with the Watch Dock. What matters most is how fast it wakes: a short press on the physical button starts a conversation, with no unlocking and no app switching in between.

Mobile work

Voice memos, meeting summaries, task generation and cross-device sync. The key here is not raw recognition accuracy but whether spoken information becomes structured content — a paragraph goes in, actionable task items come out. The Desktop Dock takes on long residency and top-up duty.

Home and desktop

Desktop dock, household assistant, ambient status and service entry. The speaker-equipped desktop dock and the home dock turn the AI Core into a resident service surface, using e-paper and the light bar for low-interruption status rather than becoming yet another screen demanding your attention.

In the car

In-car voice assistant, trip capture and agent continuity. Screens cannot be operated safely while driving, which makes voice-first a practical mode here. The point of the Car Dock is continuity: before you get in and after you get out, it is the same agent holding the same context — not a separate head-unit assistant with its own siloed data.

Field and industry

Inspection, on-site notes, after-sales service and sales support. Field work usually needs both hands, so capture-while-working is impossible; inspection notes often get written up only back at the desk. Voice and photo recognition pay off immediately here, and modular docks let one core module adapt to how each role wears or mounts it.

All five share the same AI Core. The differences live in the dock, the interaction centre of gravity, and the service orchestration behind them — which is exactly why we decouple the intelligence from the form factor.
