AI Core + Dock: decoupling the intelligence from the form factor
One core module, moving between wrist, charging, desktop, car and home docks over an 8-pin magnetic Pogopin interface.
The modular architecture behind S1 rests on one judgement: the core intelligence module should not be bound to a single watch form factor.
The AI Core integrates the MCU, audio, camera, display, connectivity, power and haptics. It can be worn as the body of a watch, or magnetically attached to a dock. Changing its form does not change who it is, what it remembers, or what it is currently doing for you.
The interface
The expansion interface sits on the back face: an 8-pin magnetic Pogopin carrying power, data, identification and alignment together. That means a dock is not merely a charging cradle — it can communicate with the body, and the body can identify which kind of dock it is sitting in.

Why the body stays thin
The S1 body is 45×38×12 mm and roughly 36 g, with a target battery range of 150–300 mAh. That capacity is not aggressive, and deliberately so — the architectural choice is that the body stays compact while the dock carries the power.
Stacking a larger cell into the body costs thickness, weight and wearing comfort at the same time, and those three are precisely what "wearable" depends on. Topping up through a strap dock or charging dock is a far cheaper path to the same endurance.
Splitting device and cloud
The device handles audio and image capture, button and status feedback, connectivity, power management and basic real-time processing. The cloud handles model inference, agent orchestration, context management, long-term memory and service invocation.
Drawing that boundary early is intentional: it lets the terminal be small and frugal, while letting the intelligence iterate on its own schedule rather than the hardware's.
